Copyright and License

Authors publishing in Jurnal Ilmiah Mappadising (JIM) retain copyright in their scholarly work while granting the journal a non-exclusive right to publish and disseminate the article.

Licensing and Reuse

The conditions for reuse, distribution, reproduction, and adaptation of an article are governed by the license explicitly stated on that article. Free access to an article does not, by itself, grant unrestricted permission to reuse its content.

Users must comply with the applicable license and provide appropriate attribution to the authors and the original publication in JIM, including the article DOI or official URL where available. Where required by the license, users must also provide a link to the license and indicate any changes made.

Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce third-party material when required and for including appropriate acknowledgements or credit lines. Material identified as excluded from an article's license remains subject to the rights and conditions specified by its copyright holder.

Previously Published Articles

Articles recovered from the previous journal platform retain the copyright and licensing terms under which they were originally published. Migration to the current website does not automatically change those terms.

If an article's licensing terms are unclear or unavailable, users should contact the editorial office before undertaking reuse that requires permission.

Author Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit their work in repositories in accordance with the rights and licensing conditions applicable to the deposited version. Further information is provided in the journal's Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy.
