Generative Artificial Intelligence Policy

Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Sosiosaintifik (JurDikMas) requires transparency and accountability in the use of generative artificial intelligence tools.

Authorship and Responsibility

Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, references, and ethical integrity of all submitted content, including material produced or modified with AI assistance.

Disclosure

Substantive use of generative AI in manuscript preparation, analysis, or interpretation must be disclosed, identifying the tool and its purpose. When AI forms part of the community service intervention or evaluation method, its role and relevant limitations must be described in the Methods section.

Integrity of Evidence

AI must not be used to fabricate participants, activities, evaluation data, quotations, references, or documentary evidence. AI-generated images must not be presented as photographs documenting actual community service activities.

Confidentiality

Authors, editors, and reviewers must protect unpublished manuscripts, personal information, and sensitive community data. Such material must not be uploaded to external AI systems when confidentiality and appropriate authorization cannot be assured.
